Forgot Your Password

If you cannot remember your password, click the "Forgot password?" link on the login page. Enter the email address you used to create your account and we will send you a password reset link.

The reset link expires after 24 hours. If you do not see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. Some email providers may filter automated messages.

Make sure you enter the same email address you used when signing up. If you are not sure which email you used, try each of your email addresses on the forgot password form. You will receive an email only if the address matches an existing account.

Cookies and Browser Settings

MenuGaze requires cookies to be enabled for authentication. When you log in, we set a secure authentication cookie that keeps you signed in for 7 days. If cookies are blocked, you will not be able to log in or stay logged in.

To check your cookie settings:

  • Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and other site data > Make sure "Block all cookies" is not selected
  • Safari: Settings > Privacy > Make sure "Block all cookies" is not checked
  • Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Enhanced Tracking Protection > Make sure it is not set to "Strict" (Standard is recommended)

Private browsing or incognito mode works fine for logging in, but you will need to log in again each time you open a new private window.

Rate Limiting

To protect your account from unauthorized access, we limit login attempts to 10 attempts per 15 minutes per IP address. If you have tried logging in too many times with an incorrect password, you will see a message asking you to wait before trying again.

The rate limit resets automatically after 15 minutes. While waiting, you can use the password reset feature to set a new password, which will work as soon as the rate limit window expires.

If you believe someone else is attempting to access your account, reset your password immediately and contact our support team.

Still Cannot Log In?

If you have tried everything above and still cannot access your account:

  1. Clear your browser cache and cookies completely
  2. Try a different browser
  3. Try a different device
  4. Check that your internet connection is working by visiting other websites
  5. Wait 15 minutes in case you have been rate-limited

If the problem persists, contact our support team with the email address associated with your account and a description of what happens when you try to log in (error message, blank page, etc.).
